p48 pi-heptomino hassler is a period-48 oscillator discovered by Matthias Merzenich in June, 2011. It uses two blocked p4-4s.

A 141-glider synthesis for a variant of this oscillator, featuring two pi heptominoes and being stabilized by copies of Eye of Sauron, was found by GUYTU6J in December 2020.[1]
