Inline external links
I noticed that you're replacing red links with inline external links on multiple pages. Please do not do that. Normally, external links should go to footnotes, and the main part of an article should contain only/mostly internal links. Red links to missing pages are helpful, so that it's easier to know which pages are missing (so theyd should not be blindly unlinked just because a page is missing). Please don't remove whitespace in template transclusions
Re: edits like this or this -- those spaces are actually useful. Just because the template still works without them, doesn't mean they are unneeded. It is much easier to edit pages when the equality symbols are aligned with each other. Confocal (talk) 05:13, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
Conversion of RLEs into headerless RLEs in EmbedViewer transclusions
Why bulk convert multiline RLEs with headers into headerless RLEs?
The template works either way as far as I can tell, the multiline form can be copied and pasted directly from Golly, and the headerless form will not work in rules other than Life. Confocal (talk) 16:07, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
- By "size", do you mean server space? All intermediate revisions are permanently stored, as far as I can tell.
