Cis-long4 hook with tail is a 12-cell still life.
Construction
This still life is known to be constructible with 5 gliders.[1] A 5-glider synthesis was found and submitted to Catagolue by Carson Cheng[2] in April 2022.[3] Some known alternate syntheses can be found in Mark Niemiec's database.[4]

Occurrence
- See also: List of common still lifes
Among the 121 still lifes with 12 cells, this is the 85th most common still life according to Catagolue.
There are no collisions in octohash, octo3obj or octo3g databases with this still life occurring in the ash.
Isomers
This still life is comprised of the normally unstable long4 hook with a normally unstable tail attached. This is one of two possible isomers, named cis due to the corner part of the hook being closer to the tail; the other isomer, trans-long4 hook with tail, has this corner part slightly farther.
