L141...
Wow! That's a rare one. There are even a couple of completely Spartan versions, in the oldest sense of "Spartan" -- a sidesnagger works, and/or there's no need to weld the eater to the boat, unless additional clearance is needed for the output. And two of them can be chained together:

Code: Select all

x = 52, y = 64, rule = LifeHistory
22.A2.2A$20.3A2.A.A$19.A6.A3.2A$19.2A9.2A6$10.A$10.3A$12.A$12.A$.A$A.

That's a lot of successfully escaping gliders -- though I suppose that that SNG output will cause some of the usual connection limitations, very similar to what happens with connecting up the Lx134.

At least the block doesn't have to be cleaned up with a Jubjub reflector in this case -- so two of these in a row makes a clean Spartan H-to-4G, as shown. (!) ... I'm thinking probably the second southwestward glider will have to be suppressed to allow the input Herschel in, but technically it's H-to-5G with a workable optional Herschel output.

EDIT: Ooh, I take it back about the difficult connectability. As long as you don't mind losing that SNG, lots of conduits with an F117 / Fx153 orientation of first eater catalyst (as opposed to an Fx77 / L156 first-eater orientation) ... will work out just absolutely fine, with a transparent block that gets knocked out by the SNG glider, and then is quickly replaced:

Code: Select all

x = 34, y = 82, rule = LifeHistory

$11.A5$2.2A9.A$3.A8.A.A$3A10.A$A4$16.2A$17.A$14.3A$14.A!
It's a little bit weird-and-wonderful that the top eater catalyst in AlbertArmstain's original partial h-to-h is three cells away from the eater in C28's version -- and that it seems quite possible that an alternate second signal might get extracted from the high-clearance chaos in the lower right of AlbertArmstain's version. In other words, there's no reason to stop looking just because the L141 was already found.

I found a third working catalyst (EaterBridgeEater) for H conduit.
So it makes a new start :

I have already found something : And here two partials/dirty H-to-R and one clean H-to-C (bad output clearance) :
