15-bit P2 #1[1], 15P2.1 (apgcode xp2_jlg4glj) is a small, unnamed period-2 oscillator.

Close inspection of this oscillator reveals its relationship with blinkers bit pole - the two phases of this oscillator correspond to the two rotated halves of blinkers bit pole, with the central oscillating dot being their connection.

This oscillator is labelled as "[2-fold odd] pole variant" on Catagolue.

Construction

All strict still lifes with a population of 21 or fewer cells, all oscillators with 16 or fewer cells, and all spaceships with 31 or fewer cells are known to be glider-constructible. A glider synthesis of this object can be found in the infobox to the right.

Occurrence

Information on this oscillator's commonness with respect to other naturally-occurring patterns is currently unknown.
