Beacon on 38P11.1 is a period 22 oscillator that is composed of a beacon and 38P11.1, where the beacon is used as an induction coil. With a minimum population of 40 cells, it is the second smallest known period 22 oscillator, though it is usually considered trivial because there is no individual cell that oscillates at the full period (as it is made up of a period 2 and a period 11 oscillator). The smallest known period 22 oscillator is 36P22, with 36 cells.[1]
