Just found another Rule 150 replicator:

Code: Select all

x = 1, y = 2, rule = B2aei5y/S1e2k3y5i
o$o!

What that looks like a dot, are actually constellations or even convoys.
There're some dots at the back of the entire thing, which are some 9c/18 spaceships.
While the line at the center is the main ash puffed by the engine of the novelty generator.
There're 4 lines, 2 diagonal, 2 oblique, comes at a pair, are all made of gliders. They come from the engine.
You may find other small lines near the center line, are the results of puffer-based methuselah produced by spaceship collisions.
Sometimes you can find some objects that's rare in Life, like beehive at beehive, honeycomb, long barge, very long barge, and more. There're more alien still lifes too.
EDIT: Wrong pattern, fixed.
EDIT 2:
This produces a unusually large alien still life, and I bet that most of them comes from this reaction:

Code: Select all

x = 15, y = 21, rule = B3-e/S2-i34i

Common 34c/86 and c/4:

Code: Select all

x = 6, y = 11, rule = B34nt/S23-a4t5i
4b2o$3ob2o$4b2o6$3b2o$2bo2bo$3b3o!
A particularly interesting note: the c/4 has a minimum population of 9 at 3 phases, but only has 10 cells at a phase.
As the 34c/86 is sparky, we can make puffers out of it:

Code: Select all

x = 5, y = 16, rule = B34nt/S23-a4t5i
2b2o$bo2bo$2b3o11$b3o$o2bo$b2o!
Rake:

Code: Select all

x = 7, y = 15, rule = B34nt/S23-a4t5i
4b2o$3bo2bo$4b3o10$b3o$o2bo$b2o!
EDIT:
Blinker powered mango puffer:

Code: Select all

x = 23, y = 24, rule = B34nt/S23-a4t5i

EDIT 2:
I'm looking for a T rake, but I'm not expecting a forward rake like this:

Code: Select all

x = 23, y = 24, rule = B34nt/S23-a4t5i

I don't think so. What I see is a Seeds-like explosion with horrible strobe between red and yellow cells. If this is a wrong rule, you can edit it.

This tiny p12 only works in 2 rules (add S8):

Code: Select all

x = 3, y = 7, rule = B35678/S24

Depends on the rulespace. The oscillator works in only two Life-like CA, but in 2^30 two-state range-1 Moore isotropic CA,

Code: Select all

optional birth conditions: B3ckn4jkqwz5aknr6aen7c
optional survival conditions: S3ack4ckqz5jk6aen7c8
I think B35678/S24 can be equivalently defined as the following two-state range-2 Moore 'layer-totalistic' CA, and there should be (2^204-1) other CA using the same weighted neighbourhood but having different sets of conditions for birth / survival, also supporting the same oscillator:

Code: Select all

#C optional birth (96): 6, 8-16, 24, 26-33, 42-45, 47-51, 59-68, 79-87, 90, 92-94, 96-102, 104-106, 111-113, 115, 117-121, 123-126, 128, 130-141, 143, 145-152
#C optional survival (108): 0, 4-7, 9, 11-18, 22-34, 41-52, 60-62, 64-68, 76-78, 81, 83-87, 96-105, 107, 111-124, 126-152
x = 3, y = 7, rule = R2,C0,S34-50,68-84,B51-67,85-152,NW01010101010111111101011100110101111111010101010101

That is seeds, but the B2 transition, if birthed by a red and blue cell, will be blue, and the red and blue cells alternate.
all above discoveries have already been found in seeds, as linked above.

huh ok

For some reason when I identified it in the Discord using Caterer, it said it only worked in two rules. Weird.

I don't know how Caterer works, and I have only a vague understanding of what it is.

For clarity (to avoid being accidentally misleading), whenever one is saying things like "this pattern works in N rulesets" or "this pattern is endemic", one has to state the rulespace.

For example take Seeds (B2/S). There are no periodic patterns endemic to Seeds within the rulespace of two-state isotropic CA using range-1 Moore neighbourhood.

However, there is a known agar endemic to Seeds within the isotropic D78 rulespace.
