This is a cellular automaton, named for the evolution of its Pi.
The Pi-heptomino:
Code: Select all
x = 3, y = 3, rule = B3-c/S234i:P0,3
3o$o$3o!
Some puffer:
Code: Select all
x = 93, y = 16, rule = B3-c/S234i

Infinitely growing traffic light predecessor.
Code: Select all
x = -17, y = 3, rule = B3-c/S234i:P0,3

Don't make a new thread for every new rule you find. Post them in Miscellaneous Discoveries instead.
Code: Select all
x = 192, y = 53, rule = B3/S23

This is a Life-like cellular automaton, named for the evolution of its Pi.
First, this rule is not a Life-like cellular automaton, since it is not outer-totalistic. This is an isotropic non-totalistic rule.
Random soups consistently explode, which means apgsearch will not work for this rule.
By manually running random soups in Golly I noticed this 2c/36 orthogonal spaceship, probably already known:
Code: Select all
x = 5, y = 5, rule = B3-c/S234i
bo$4o$bo2bo$2b2o$2b2o!
#C [[ ZOOM 24 TRACKLOOP 36 0/36 2/36 ]]
127:1
B3/S234c User:Confocal/R (isotropic CA, incomplete)
Unlikely events happen.
My silence does not imply agreement, nor indifference. If I disagreed with something in the past, then please do not construe my silence as something that could change that.

Probably already known c/2 spaceship.
Code: Select all
x = 5, y = 4, rule = B3-c/S234i

Code: Select all
x = 5, y = 3, rule = B3/S23

From a similar rule on Catagolue, two distinct 2c/12o spaceships:
Code: Select all
x = 9, y = 13, rule = B3-c/S234i
bobo2b2o$2b2obo2bo$2b2o2b2o7$4bo$2obobo$3b3o$3b2o!
It's OK to abbreviate my username to "P1GG," but never,
never, call me "pig."
Code: Select all
x = 36, y = 9, rule = B3/S23
23bobo$21bo3bo$13bo7bo$12b4o4bo4bo8b2o$11b2obobo4bo12b2o$2o8b3obo2bo3b

A rule name it Pi extension xva glider world.
Rulestring is B2e3-ejc/S1c23-cnq4i.
Code: Select all
x = 3, y = 3, rule = B2e3-cej/S1c23-cnq4i
o$2bo$3o!
