The xq37886 in this rule is repeatedly misidentified as yl4362.
Code: Select all
x = 16, y = 16, rule = B2kn3-cj4jrt5e6ein7e/S2aek3ijnqr4cein5acin6ckn78
...
My theory is that if apgsearch starts identifying the spaceship after a certain time limit, then it detects that the "rotating puffer" has a population that increases with a period of 4362 and 2 types of difference (4 and 6 due to the two phases of the p2) that sum to 10 cells.

The xq13386 in this rule is sometimes misidentified as "yl429_1_-3_840ae4d79b0bce1dd50b1f250c01b483". It consists of a c/3d wickstretcher connected to a slightly faster fuse that burns at 48c/143d. ....
Similarly, the pattern's population appears to decrease with a period of 429 and only 1 type of difference at -3 cells. Certainly interesting.

The latter synthesis is not reduced after the former is submitted as the second to last step:
Code: Select all

#CSYNTH xs19_4a9jwcczx1qm costs 9 gliders (pseudo).
#CLL state-numbering golly
