That LWSS eater does not seem useless (although it's probably already known) for multiple reasons. It can be constructed with only two gliders. While this is also true of a fishhook, this particular LWSS eater can be constructed in two ways due to its symmetry, which makes it more versatile. In addition, this LWSS eater is half of a blockade, so it is possible that one half of a blockade could be used as an LWSS eater and the other half could be used for something else.
I am tentatively considering myself back.

Known. LifeWiki has a glider to 2 blocks factory on display. The 3-block constellation is also known, jslife contains an oscillator based off it.

JP21 wrote: November 17th, 2020, 1:47 pm Sorry, but I just want to point out that all this time, I very much hate people saying my something might be known then a more experienced person shows needlessly examples of it being known. It keeps repeating when I show the lwss eater. (Yes, just check my older posts with lwss eater, you will see a reply saying that it is known, which is not nice especially because I already know they are known and I just enjoy placing them in useless ways for fun only.) But after all, this one is a result of an inexperienced user that keep quoting my (fun and already known) patterns.
It will all be fine if people gets that this is for useless discoveries and should not quote other posts here in a way that it would seem not useless only for someone to say that it is useless.

In short, don't quote my uselessnesses.
I don't understand half of this. Could you speak in German or Lojban or some other language with any kind of grammar?

I do not want anyone to quote my uselessnesses such that someone say it isn't (or other related part of it) useless because it leads to someone to post something saying that it was known for years (and proving it way too frequently). Like when the MathAndCode quoted my post then you have to say it was known. It's annoying because it could have been prevented if I didn't post anything (or if mathandcode didn't have to quote my unuseful/known life patterns like everyday)

I don't like unneccesary information to be brought out just because of my post. (post that was clearly intended for fun of combining uselessness together.)

Just watch the patterns instead. Not discuss with it.

I hope that's clearer.

It should be possible (although very expensive), but why would you want to? Converting a block into a table can already be done with 5 gliders: 3 gliders turn block into boat, and 2 gliders turn boat into table.

Honey farm catalysis that does nothing helpful, but it's unusual. Bellman's contribution is at the top; the baton was passed to CatForce at the bottom.

Code: Select all

x = 23, y = 31, rule = B3/S23

I'm having difficulty cleaning up this method of converting a honey farm predecessor into a wing and glider.

Code: Select all

x = 18, y = 17, rule = LifeHistory

I also found an unusual eater 2 catalysis, but the destroyed fishhook makes the reaction useless.

Code: Select all

x = 15, y = 22, rule = LifeHistory

I am tentatively considering myself back.

This catalysis is equivalent to both a BTS and a block.

Code: Select all

x = 50, y = 14, rule = B3/S23
