A: You can't - the Travelling T is fireproof. This explains why they survived the incident of 2013, while gliders became extinct.

A: 4, obviously - RCT4 can construct anything and everything in 4 gliders, but you cannot use it right now as it is creating the first exponential growth pattern.

A: The issue is that the spider has been proven to only have invalid glider synthesises: no valid glider synthesis is possible.
