Can this R173 be completed? All that’s needed is to delete the junk, but there’s one annoying block on the inside that I can’t seem to get rid of no matter what:

Code: Select all

x = 31, y = 43, rule = B3/S23
22b2o$22bo$20bobo$20b2o9$26b2o$26b2o6$o$obo24b2obo$3o24bob2o$2bo$20b2o
$20b2o8$7b2o$6bobo$6bo$5b2o5$19b3o$19bo$18b2o!
Edit: This gets rid of the block, but then it just creates more problems:

Code: Select all

x = 31, y = 43, rule = B3/S23
22b2o$22bo$20bobo$5b2o13b2o$5b2o4$3b2o$3b2o3$26b2o$26b2o6$o$obo24b2ob

Edit 2: If only there was a way to restore that block…

Edit 3: Uhhh…

Very unlikely HF226P with two extra blocks (but perhaps there is another way to reflect the FNG the produce a more useful output):

People usually utilize a Coe's p8 for this sort of thing to make a phase-agnostic p8 conduit:

This reaction could be used to make a PT41H if the glider released from the pi interacting with the block could be used to restore the block. This comes close, placing the block 1 cell south and 1 cell east from where it should be:

Managed to find a factory that works here, but it is a bit constraining, there is a working r-to-p input, but then that R has no valid input, just barely... I might be missing something obvious, maybe another P input works, but it seems that block is always a tad too close:
