That c/63 doesn't work.
This one works with 44 cells.

Code: Select all

x = 10, y = 11, rule = B348/S05678

It used to be this, some glitch must have happened.

I posted that one above.
Also, the "4c/115" I posted is actually 8c/115:

Smaller 18c/72, by the way (Based on the puffer)

Hence why it obviously has 3 cells.

I forgot to check the pattern :oops:. But the smallest bounding box is 2*3, yours is 2*4 so it won't get added.

I'm not really focusing on bounding box, as I have to sift through thousands of results anyways. General rule: If a ship has a three-cell example, there is nothing you can do, that will stay there, though feel welcome to test if the three-cell ship for any speed you want to test works, because I probably made some mistakes somewhere.

Although I strongly doubt it, are non-isotopic rules acceptable?

In which case, have this (7,3)c/60:

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 3, rule = MAPARYXfhZofugWaH7oaIDogBZofuhogOiAaIDogIAAgAAWaH7oaICatGiA6ICAAIAAaICatIAAgACAAIAAAAAAAA

No, that would make it even more ridiculous, though I do wonder what new speeds could be possible with these rules?

Probably a few. This brings up an interesting question:

Are there any speeds and/or directions that would be completely impossible in all range-1 2-state CA, without the usage of universal construction technology?

Also, not meaning to rush you, but when will you get around to updating the list?

I believe c diagonal is an example.

I was actually going to yesterday, but as I was working on it, a power outage happened, and I lost the stuff from that day, because I was dumb and didn't save, I will probably upload it tomorrow, because I have to look through the list again.
