Each day is a hidden opportunity, a frozen waterfall that's waiting to be realised, and one that I'll probably be ignoring

The bakery? Where did that term come from agaaain?
Naszvadi found a 6 glider synthesis on 02/05, and improved the block cleanup, reducing it to 5 on 02/06. There are at least two ways to make the constellation from 3 gliders, and I know several others too.

In Life, Bakery is a common constellation consisting of four loaves, and it has a very common predecessor. In this rule, that same predecessor forms two tripoles and two blocks instead.

That key reaction of the clean-up is found by me anyway, I should add.

Oh okay then. Bubbelgum made up the term "star" before so I thought he was doing the same thing here.

Hi AlephAlpha, 好久不见!How did you find them? With rlifesrc or LifeFind? It should be the first and smallest c/4d in this rule that does not work in Life.

It is neither the first nor the smallest:

Oh, and the OP is now very outdated. For example, LeapLife is already on the Leaderboard(!!!!!!!!!!!!) thanks to your efforts.

LaundryPizza03 and Pavgran also helped.
Oh, yeah. The census pie looks like CGoL's now. Sadly, there are still no natural linear growth (but don't give up! It didn't yet appear does not mean it doesn't even exist.)
I will put a heavy update to the oscillator collection now.
EDIT: And did you know you discovered - not one, but two - doubled carnival today?
