Reorganizing the catalysts

I think that the ship family is a legitimate family of catalysts and should be treated as such, i.e. given subsections in the sections for common types of catalysts and replacement catalysts, and I think that fishhook bridge fishhook should be put in the replacement catalyst section. (I mentioned the catalysts like that, but someone changed it, which is why I'm asking here instead of just making that change myself.) When I see a situation that looks like a ship and fishhook, R49 catalyst, or fishhook bridge fishhook might work, I place a lone ship, and depending on how it fails, I place one of those other catalysts. For example, if it turns into a specific blockcade predecessor, I replace it with a fishhook bridge fishhook. Also, the hook with tail is mentioned in the section for the snake itself and in the section for miscellaneous catalysts but not in the section for snake replacement catalysts. I think that this should be reversed so that the hook with tail is only in the section for snake replacement catalysts. MathAndCode (talk) 04:14, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

I just discovered that a lone ship and a fishhook bridge fishhook fail in a consistent way when a beehive works.

I just made most of those changes myself (and put in an explanation for why the fishhook bridge fishhook should be considered as a ship-type catalyst) because I didn't get a response from anyone.MathAndCode (talk) 19:49, 25 June 2021 (UTC)

A new type of catalysis to possibly mention

Should this class of catalyses be mentioned? If so, how should it be put in? I think that it should either get a new section or go in the bonus catalyses section, but I would like other users' input.

Minor adjustment suggestion

Does anybody mind if I re-orient the beehive push catalyst patterns, if nobody else gets to it first? They're facing three different directions at the moment. Dvgrn (talk) 21:30, 14 March 2024 (UTC)

Eater 3

The bonus catalyses are "optional as the catalysts used are fairly rare", but I think eater 3 is used quite often. (Also why is this centered all of a sudden?)I6 I6 (talk) 17:28, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
