Period1GliderGun is a Lifenthusiast from somewhere on Earth. They joined the forums in 2022, but have been fascinated with cellular automata since 2019. They started out in OCA, as many newcomers do, but migrated to GoL study in 2023, focusing mainly on oscillators and guns.

Notable patterns discovered include the first period-15 and period-16 glider guns, the first known engines of periods 118, 123, 260, 264, and 450, and reductions to various SKOPs, including SKOP12, SKOP23, and SKOP95.
