OCA:Glider 3736
The glider 3736 is a small alien 2c/5 orthogonal spaceship, discovered by Robert Wainwright in 1994.[1] The spaceship works in multiple rules, including Grounded Life (B35/S23), Pseudo Life (B357/S238) and B35/S236. The name comes from the online Fano database of gliders in Life-like cellular automata.[2][3]
The spaceship evolves in the same way in all Life-like rules from B35/S23 to B3578/S02368 and all isotropic non-totalistic rules from B3aeijr5aikn/S23-ck to B2i34ceijqry56-ac78/S0234-akw5aejk67c8.
Common predecessors depend on the rule. In particular, there are multiple known ways how a T-tetromino can evolve into a glider 3736.[4]
There are known diagonal SMOSes that are right-angle collisions between two copies of this spaceship, with simplified speeds ranging from c/70d to c/5d and periods ranging from 5 to 345.[5]
