p93 R-pentomino hassler is a period-93 oscillator found by iNoMed on August 1, 2023 based on a partial by Carson Cheng.[1] It is the first known engine-based period-93 oscillator (all previously known p93 oscillators were either least-common-multiple oscillators or closed tracks made out of conduits). It consists of two R-pentomino descendants being hassled by two eater 1s and two Merzenich's p31s.

Chris857 found a 79-glider synthesis on August 2, 2023.[2][3] On December 12, 2023, KtT lowered the cost to 78 gliders.[4][5]
