PT38P is a small elementary pi-heptomino conduit. After 38 ticks, it produces a pi-heptomino rotated 90 degrees at (1, 2) relative to the input. It was found as a result of the discovery of Tanner's p46.

It can produce Tanner's p46 with PT8P and a p45 variant[1] using a PT7P also seen in a p28 variant of gourmet.

There is a p152 pi-heptomino hassler that consists of a pi-heptomino rotating 90 degrees every 38 generations. But it has different offset and it is periodic, so that oscillator is unrelated to this conduit, although it's also technically a PT38P.

It gives a phi spark, it's maybe useful.

Variants

Many variants of the conduit exist.
