Mold on 36P22 is a period 44 oscillator composed of a mold and the unnamed 36P22. Although it is composed of two oscillators of smaller periods (4 and 22 respectively), it is considered non-trivial, because it has a single cell that oscillates at the full period. In terms of its 50 cells, it is the smallest known non-trivial period 44 oscillator.[1]

Generation 14 reveals the single cell that oscillates at the full period (in green).
