The p35 honey farm hassler is a period-35 oscillator discovered by Dongook Lee on January 9, 2016, using a hacked version of ptbsearch.[1] It was later reduced by Matthias Merzenich on the same day.[2] In terms of its minimum population of 44 cells, it is currently the smallest known non-trivial period-35 oscillator, although the trivial pseudo-barberpole on burloaferimeter has a minimum population of only 39 cells.
Jeremy Tan found a 16-glider synthesis for this oscillator on March 29, 2020.[3]
